Free Knit Pattern - Two Color Diamond Quilting Stitch

This patterns calls for stitches which is multiples of 6 + 2

Light Green Yarn
1. - Knit all
2. - P1, * P1 (wrap yarn twice - refer image below), P4, P1 (wrap yarn twice); Repeat from * to the last one stitch, P1

Dark Green Yarn
3. - K1, *Slip 1 (unwrap), K4, Slip 1 (unwrap); Repeat from * to the last one stitch, K1
4. - P1, * Slip1, P4, Slip1; Repeat from * to the last one stitch, P1
5. - K1, *Slip 1, K4, Slip 1; Repeat from * to the last one stitch, K1
6. -  P1, * Slip1, P4, Slip1; Repeat from * to the last one stitch, P1

Light Green Yarn
7. - K1, * free the stitch and K2 from the left needle and knit the free stitch, hold the next 2 stitches in a cable needle and knit the next stitch from the left needle, now knit the 2 stitches; Repeat from *  to the last one stitch, K1

8. - P1, *P2, P2(wrap yarn twice), P2; Repeat from * to the last one stitch, P1

Dark Green Yarn
9. - K1, *K2, Slip 2(unwrap), K2; Repeat from * to the last one stitch, K1
10. - P1, *P2, Slip2, P2; Repeat from * to the last one stitch , P1
11. - K1, *K2, Slip 2, K2; Repeat from * to the last one stitch, K1
12. - P1,  *P2, Slip2, P2; Repeat from * to the last one stitch , P1

Light Green Yarn
13. - K1, *hold the next 2 stitches in a cable needle and knit the next stitch from the left needle, now knit the 2 stitches, free the next stitch and K2 from the left needle and now knit the free stitch, ; Repeat from *  to the last one stitch, K1
