Free Knit Pattern - Garland Stitch
For this pattern, you will need a multiple of 3+2. This pattern looks very beautiful on kid's clothing
For my example, I have cast on 23 stitches. I have used the color in the text to make it easier while knitting
1. - Knit All
2. - Purl All
3. - K1, P3, Slip3, P3, Slip3, P3, Slip3, P3, Slip1
4. - P1, K3, Slip3, K3, Slip3, K3, Slip3, K3, P1
5. - Knit All
6. - Purl All
7. - K5, *Pull the pink yarn from the front and push behind the next stitch (refer image below) and Knit, K5 - *Repeat
8. - Purl All
9. - P1, Slip3, P3, Slip3, P3, Slip3, P3, Slip3, P1
10. - K1, Slip3, K3, Slip3, K3, Slip3, K3, Slip3, K1
11. - Knit All
12. - Purl All
13. - K2, *Pull the pink yarn from the front and push behind the next stitch (refer image below) and Knit, K5 - *Repeat
14. - Purl All
