Multicolor Knit Pattern a Day - Day 6 - WAVE PATTERN

Free Knit Pattern - Wave Stitch

I find this pattern very glamorous and just love the look, its very girly and very feminine

This pattern calls for stitches which is a multiples of 6 + 4. However, make sure the stitch is multiples of 6 with even numbers (2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, etc)

For my sample, I cast on 28 stitches (6x4 = 24 + 4 for edge)

White Yarn

1. - Knit all

2. - Purl all

Blue Yarn

3. - Slip 1, K1, *bring the yarn in front and Slip 4, bring the yarn to the back and K4, * repeat, Slip 1, K1 (refer image if required)

4. - P5, *Yarn back Slip4, Yarn front P4, * Repeat, Yarn back Slip4, Yarn front P3
5. - K4, *Yarn front Slip4, Yarn back K4, * Repeat.
6. - P3, *Yarn back Slip4, Yarn front P4, * Repeat, Yarn back Slip4, Yarn front P5
7. - K6, *Yarn front Slip4, Yarn back K4, * Repeat. Yarn front Slip4, Yarn back K2

Multicolor Knit Pattern a Day - Day 5 - HONEYCOMB PATTERN

Free Knit Pattern - Honeycomb Stitch

This pattern calls for multiple of 12 + 2 stitches

For my sample, I cast on 26 stitches
Green Yarn
1. - Knit all
2. - Purl all

Red Yarn
3. - K5, Slip 4, K8, Slip 4, K5
4. - P5, Slip 4, P8, Slip 4, P5

Green Yarn
5. - K3, (Slip 2 stitch in cable needle and hold at the back, K2 from the left needle, K2 from the cable needle, Slip 2 stitch in cable needle and hold at the front, K2 from the left needle, K2 from the cable needle ), K4, (Slip 2 stitch in cable needle and hold at the back, K2 from the left needle, K2 from the cable needle, Slip 2 stitch in cable needle and hold at the front, K2 from the left needle, K2 from the cable needle ), K3
6. - Purl all

Red Yarn
7. - K1, Slip 2, K8, Slip 4, K8, Slip 2, K1
8. - P1, Slip 2, P8, Slip 4, P8, Slip 2, P1

Green Yarn

This is again a beautiful pattern for Baby blanket. I liked to use this pattern especially for baby girls

This pattern calls for multiple of 3 + 3 stitches

Purple Yarn
1. - Knit all
2. - Knit all
3. - Knit all
4. - Purl all
5. - Knit all
6. - Slip 1,* P1, P1(wrap the yarn twice), P2, P1(wrap the yarn twice), * Repeat
Pink Yarn
7. - Slip 1, * "K,YO,K,YO,K" this is to be knitted in one single stitch - refer image, Slip 1, K2, Slip1, * Repeat

8. - Slip 1, *(bring the yarn in the front)K5, (bring the yarn at the back of the work) Slip 1, P2, Slip1, * Repeat 

9. - Slip 1, *(bring the yarn in the back)P5, (bring the yarn at the back of the work) Slip 1, K2, Slip1, * Repeat 

10. - Slip 1, *(bring the yarn in the front)K2tog, K3tog, PSSO, (bring the yarn at the back of the work) Slip 1, P2, Slip1, * Repeat 

Purple Yarn

Again another very simple stitch. However, looks so soft and cuddly in a baby blanket
This pattern calls for a multiple of 3 + 2

For my sample project, I cast on 15 stitches

White Yarn
1. -  Knit all
2. -  Purl all
3. -  Knit all
4. -  Purl all
Green Yarn
5. - *K3, pull out the next still like in the image below and knit, * repeat
6. - Purl all
White Yarn
7. -  Knit all
8. -  Purl all
9. -  Knit all
10. - Purl all

Free Knit Pattern - Simple Pearl Stitch

This is one of the simplest pattern I have done with multiple colors and the look is very neat too.
This pattern calls for multiple of 2, + 2 for edge

1. -  Knit All
2. -  Knit All
3. -  K1, *YO, K2, Slip the "yarn over" over the two knit stitches, * Repeat, K1
4. -  Purl All

Free Knit Pattern - Garland Stitch

For this pattern, you will need a multiple of 3+2. This pattern looks very beautiful on kid's clothing

For my example, I have cast on 23 stitches. I have used the color in the text to make it easier while knitting

1. -  Knit All
2. -  Purl All
3. -  K1, P3, Slip3, P3, Slip3, P3, Slip3, P3, Slip1 
4. - P1, K3, Slip3, K3, Slip3, K3, Slip3, K3, P1 
5. -  Knit All
6. -  Purl All
7. -  K5, *Pull the pink yarn from the front and push behind the next stitch (refer image below) and Knit, K5 - *Repeat 
8. -  Purl All
9. -  P1, Slip3, P3, Slip3, P3, Slip3, P3, Slip3, P1
10. -  K1, Slip3, K3, Slip3, K3, Slip3, K3, Slip3, K1
11. -  Knit All
12. -  Purl All
