Summer break @ Home (Manipur)

Life seems really moving at the light's pace. I was once a little girl, in school uniform, riding a bicycle to school. The last time I wore the school Uniform was way back in 1992 but when I visit home, I still feel my young life full of joy, laughter and mischief.
I finally got time to spend a long holiday at home this summer , thanks to recession. I had expected a green valley at this time of the year but unfortunately the monsoon is late and what I could view was just yellowish brown plains. SAD!
After 5 years of spending every hour on phone/ internet/ meetings etc, I have nothing to worry about for the first time in 5 yrs. Man! this feels really really empty..I feel like a new vessel just bought from the market, with prominent texture and lustrous shine and ready to use :)
This whole month, I didn't watch TV (its unthinkable for a TV buff like me), I didn't follow any news (I thought I can never empty my stomach without daily dose of news inside the Pod..he he..but I happily could empty everything). Actually, I needed newspaper only in the morning...lolz. Anyways..lets leave this topic here..
And my son, who is now 5 and half years old literally freak out in the open spaces at home. I always wanted my son to pick up my mother tongue other than hindi and english. Whenever I tried to teach him before this manipur trip, he used to just laughed at me. Probably because he thought I am just joking by saying some unknown words. This time, he realized that there are whole bunch of people (Lolz) who speak a language which he cannot understand at all. So, then he started taking interested in understanding the meaning of each words. Thankfully he learned a number of words and could also understand quite a lot.
Pratham just enjoyed playing with his cousins specially Paras. They have kind of become inseparable. Running, Hiding, Screaming, Jumping around the house till they are drag to the bed to put to Sleep is what both of them did fr the entire month.

I also could click some beautiful flowers at home. Thanks to my brothers, who are gardening fanatics. I love the fragrances from the flowering flowers at night, especially "leihao". This flower I guess is called chameli(not sure) in Hindi. The freshness of this flower couple with its fragrances pulls me back to my childhood days when I had love wearing these in my hair strand.

Life here is like you have all the time in your hand.No more getting up early in the morning and chasing time to complete each and every work.
A way of life which I have not had the luxury to live :). My life has become a roller coaster ride since marriage with all the responsibilities on my head. This time, I had caught up with numerous Korean Serials. I have heard of them a lot from my cousins as these serials are quite famous in Manipur but I never took interest in watching them plainly because I didn't have that kind of a time to invest in watching lengthy serials. So, this time, I had tried to make up for the missing times. The first serial I watched was "Tree of Heaven" and I quite liked it. So, thereafter I have watched almost all the famous serials. :). I got many DVDs from my cousin as a gift too..sweet of him..huh
