I love the moments when Pratham's queries go beyond our answers and reasons.
We were on our way to see Bachna e Hasseno, Pratham started the conversation (really wonder what was in his mind)
Pratham: Papa, Salman and Shah Rukh Khan are real?
Pankaj: Yes, they are real like us, human beings
Pratham: Do they look the same as they look in movies?
Pankaj: Yes, they look the same
Pratham:Do they stay in our country (he actually doesn't know what is a country, but he loves talking about country :-)
Pankaj: yes they stay in India, our country
Pratham: But I have never seen them in real, why is it so?
Pankaj: Because we stay in Gurgaon and they stay in Bombay
Pratham: Have I stayed at Bombay before?
Pankaj: No, I have stayed at Bombay before you were born.
Pratham: Did you met them?
Pankaj: No
Pratham: Why? Why? (he really want to know the reason)
Pankaj: There is no reason to meet them and they are not important people to me
Pratham: ( I think he didn't understand but he was quite for a while)
Its amazing to listen to all the questions Pratham wants to know in each and every aspect of life. He is sometimes confused what is real and what is not. He still thinks all his cartoon charaters are for real inspite of telling him that cartoons are not real. I think probably he was relating to this cartoons being not real when he started the conversation..
